Can I export a video now?
Yes. MP4 export includes selections, transitions, adjustments, text, subtitles and audio. Codecs and resolution are checked on your device; 4K and HEVC support vary by browser.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
In the current implementation, selected files are read locally for playback and thumbnails. The app has no video upload endpoint. The server delivers static application files.
Are all MP4, MOV, and HEVC files supported?
No. The container does not guarantee codec support. H.265/HEVC and some 4K recordings may not decode in your browser or on your device. Try a compatible H.264 MP4.
Are projects saved after I close the page?
Save and download the .veproject file. Open it with Ctrl+O or the import area, then reconnect your original files. Keep the originals: projects contain editing instructions rather than embedded media.
Is this a free online video editor?
The final product’s access model has not been decided. This site presents an interactive prototype and does not promise a permanent free offer.
